Our last annual assessment took place in September 2008 and we were delighted to have our 5 star rating reconfirmed , a position we have held since the schemes inception in 2002
The assessment process is rigorous ,the buildings, gardens, interior décor, cleanliness, hygiene, reservation procedures, safety, security, guest services, hosting experience, breakfast offering, business practices and guest satisfaction all come under close scrutiny.Indeed more than 400 features are assessed to ultimately determine the rating

Hadleigh is committed to sustainability ,we embraced the initiative , we also recognised there was much to learn as we prepared for the evaluation. We received recent notification that with our score we were eligible to display the Qualmark Enviro - Silver logo . We are delighted as we are among the first recipients in New Zealand . We will continue to make positive changes to help the environment , the community and contribute to New Zealands reputation as a sustainable destination .
